Mission + Services
Our mission is simple but powerful: Advocate. Educate. Empower.
Inspired by the vision of the Sisters of Mercy, we promote the empowerment of individuals with a special focus on disadvantaged women and seniors through proven programs that educate, foster self-sufficiency and support enhanced quality of life.
We excel at stabilizing and improving the quality of life for those living in disadvantaged circumstances. We employ a unique approach to workforce development and aging population assistance. Our holistic efforts help seniors and those less educated become more stable and independent. We experience strong support for our mission and a respected position in the community due to fostering relationships with our partners, sponsors, donors and volunteers.
We effect change in two fundamental ways:
Senior Services – We play an active role in the Cincinnati communities of Walnut Hills, Evanston, and surrounding neighborhoods by helping seniors navigate the challenges they face through our home healthcare services, food pantry and social activities so they can age in place and feel connected.
Workforce Development– We also empower individuals who have a desire to gain the education and skills needed to become self-sufficient with jobs along a healthcare career pathway. We are committed to equipping those who may have been overlooked or need additional guidance in order to begin a new start on their path to gainful employment.
In all that we do, we are an organization rooted in faith and driven by a spirit of giving—the touch of mercy—a vision inspired by the Sisters of Mercy.
